Can anybody provide me some tips and tricks to optimize use of windows 7

Well, Windows 7 is still just a beta, so not many people have tried it yet.
I've briefly tried it in a virtual machine.

Play around with it, and learn that way what is new, and what can be changed and optimized.
As far as I know, it is more optimized than Vista. :P

A good general rule of thumb is install it and leave it alone. :P

Well, messing with things is how you learn...

Depends what your goal is, just have it work, and use it.
Or to explore it, break it, fix it, and learn...

One little tip I found was to hold down the SHIFT key before using thr right click > Send To option.


Try it, I found it useful to get better choices in the Send To menu.
