hey everybody, I was surfing the net when something popped up called "LSAS.Blaster.Keylogger." help!! I cant download any files, computer is running incredibly slow, pop ups keep coming up stating that creidt cards will be comprimised! What can I do to get rid of this?? I tried a few forum tips, nothing seems to be helping...

I cannot download any files... what to do??

i trie downloading the file already. It downloads but wont open, saves but nowhere

try rebooting into safe mode... tap F8 key during boot up and select safe mode, no networking...

find the installer and run it when you log into windows in safemode.

let me know.

i cant access the installer, cant find it, and it actually wont save anywhere...when i click "save" the download goes away

If you're using IE try using Firefox to save it to your desktop. Go ahead and get both the installer and the zipped executable.

i cannot access firefox since it is not on this computer already. Also, I cannot save the files to the computer as it wont let me save anything.

Rod,

go get your laptop fool and download this.. than put it in a jumpdrive and transfer the file and giver hell.. OR if you cant transfer run the EXE off the drive and install to the other computer

Right click the links in my above post and choose Save Target As... and select Desktop. If that doesn't work you may need to get the files from a friend. And definitely get Firefox.
