When I try to install MS update KB928367 I receive the message that it cannot be installed because MSJIT.DLL is corrupt or missing. Any suggestions? How can I locate the appropriate DLL file that I need?

I've never heard of MSJIT.DLL and neither has Google.

Also, .NET Framework 1.0 is no longer supported by Microsoft.

I would guess it mean "Microsoft Just-In-Time".

Yes, given Microsoft naming conventions, that is a reasonable guess for MSJIT.DLL. The trouble is, no such file name exists that I know of. At least, not as a legitimate file for Windows.

So that brings us back to the original question:

to which the answer is, you can't locate it anywhere, because it doesn't exist.

Since the .NET Framework 1.0 (including the KB928367 update for it) is now obsolete and unsupported by Microsoft, a better solution is to UNinstall the complete .NET Framework 1.0. If you still need some form of .NET, you should instead install .NET 1.1 or 2.0 or 3.5 as needed.

Go for 3.5, and pick up everything until 2.0 if you decide to go backwards.
