  1. Yep, that did it. ZA didn't ask for permission, which is strange. I told ZA to allow AVAST, and now it's working properly. Phew, I didn't want to change firewalls too.

    Thanks MP

  2. No. I know how to write ISO files to a CD.

Here's the situation. I had an ISO file that I lost in a clean install, it didn't get backed up for some reason.

But I had already written the ISO file to 1 CD, but I needed to make 2 CD's. I use CDBurner XP Pro3.

Can I create an ISO file from the CD, then write it? I would like to know how to make iso files either way.

    Thanks.

  3. i just recently switched to Avast and so far i have been happy with it.

was it the On-Access Protection itself that was turning itself off or was it one of the provider's for Email, Web Sheild, and so forth?

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

hmmmm, I don't remember. I'll reistall it, and let you know.

  4. Thanks. I tried Avast and it annoyed the crap out of me so I switched back to AVG.

Avast kept turning itself off, and was driving me crazy so I gave up on it. Maybe I need some Avast lessons.

  5. Can I clean anything up?

  6. I love hearing about new Tools.

I just updated my Messenger from the 22nd release and I am sooo happy that it didn't get rid of all of my winks and such! That's the best improvement yet. LOL I get tired of having to go to BlueMountain and redownload my s*** for every update.

  7. Thanks guys. I didn't even notice that I needed to upgrade my Messenger. As for the A-Patch, I forgot all about that. Thanks for the reminder.

Now, I don't know anything about the AIM Ad Hack. Thanks for that infor MP.

  8. legal one i would believe. Zip it and uploaded to file host that accept .zip...

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Of course, legal. Have you used any sites that use .zip? If so, could you tell me what they are.

    Thanks
