  1. yeah i take back what i said...only some of the missions are hard.. I just finished all the missions today and man some of them were pretty **** easy. shiro was a joke
  2. okay i guess the main problem is coz my cpu is overheated, added another fan, problems got better.. but is it normal for GW to use up 90%+ of my cpu? and what type of thermopaste do you recommend?
  3. okay something i realized... when i first opened guildwars everything runs perfectly fine, but after like 30min to an hour the performance went down dramatically. my FPS went from 16-20 to 6-10. is there a particular reason for this?
  4. just curious what's ur fps rate at cantha? mine is around 10 all the time.. sometimes 8.\ and does "-heapsize xxxx" help a lot? i tried it and so far no change to tri/fps/ bites/sec
  5. faction is so much harder than prophecies...
  6. question.. i have a 2.8ghz/1gb ram/geforce 6600 card computer, but my guild war runs so slow if i increase the graphic settings.. it lags in Cantha even when i set it to the lowest setting. Is this because of my graphic card? what should i upgrade to improve it? (btw according to tarun my hijackthis log file is clean) pliz help i cant stand this snapshot guildwar anymore

  8. I have an AMD 2.8ghz computer with 1gb ram and geforce 6600 card, but for some reasons when i play Guild Wars i need to use the lowest setting to make the game runs perfectly smooth. i've ran several antispyware programs and antivirus programs listed on this website.. but i still think there's something slowing down my computer.. please help oh yeah this question is for Tarun.. my CPU usage is always around 87-97 and mem usage is around 300k during guild war(without any other programs running... is it normal?? ------------------------------------------------------------------ Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 4:30:35 PM, on 4/30/2006 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180) Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MsMpEng.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\LEXBCES.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\LEXPPS.EXE C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\jusched.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\igfxtray.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\hkcmd.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\aswUpdSv.exe C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashServ.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\CTSvcCDA.exe C:\Program Files\ewido anti-malware\ewidoctrl.exe C:\Program Files\ewido anti-malware\ewidoguard.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32.exe C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashMaiSv.exe C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashWebSv.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Yun\Desktop\System Maintenance\HijackThis.exe O2 - BHO: Adobe PDF Reader Link Helper - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll O2 - BHO: SSVHelper Class - {761497BB-D6F0-462C-B6EB-D4DAF1D92D43} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\ssv.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [sunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\jusched.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PHIME2002ASync] C:\WINDOWS\System32\IME\TINTLGNT\TINTSETP.EXE /SYNC O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PHIME2002A] C:\WINDOWS\System32\IME\TINTLGNT\TINTSETP.EXE /IMEName O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvMediaCenter] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvMcTray.dll,NvTaskbarInit O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MSPY2002] C:\WINDOWS\System32\IME\PINTLGNT\ImScInst.exe /SYNC O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iMJPMIG8.1] "C:\WINDOWS\IME\imjp8_1\IMJPMIG.EXE" /Spoil /RemAdvDef /Migration32 O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [igfxTray] C:\WINDOWS\system32\igfxtray.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HotKeysCmds] C:\WINDOWS\system32\hkcmd.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Cmaudio] RunDll32 cmicnfg.cpl,CMICtrlWnd O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows Defender] "C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe" -hide O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nwiz] nwiz.exe /install O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\ssv.dll O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\ssv.dll O9 - Extra button: AIM - {AC9E2541-2814-11d5-BC6D-00B0D0A1DE45} - C:\Program Files\AIM\aim.exe O9 - Extra button: Messenger - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Windows Messenger - {FB5F1910-F110-11d2-BB9E-00C04F795683} - C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe O16 - DPF: {17492023-C23A-453E-A040-C7C580BBF700} (Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool) - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=39204 O16 - DPF: {97F3D1C1-C8C2-471D-A139-298DEAA35E0B} (ToonsXComicPlus Control) - http://www.comicplus.com/tviewer/ToonsXComicPlus.cab O16 - DPF: {B38870E4-7ECB-40DA-8C6A-595F0A5519FF} (MsnMessengerSetupDownloadControl Class) - http://messenger.msn.com/download/MsnMesse...pDownloader.cab O16 - DPF: {D62C6763-3AF7-481A-B31D-02BB6BE1D2EE} (ToonsXYahooKorea Control) - http://comicw2.yahoo.co.kr/download/ToonsXYahooKorea.cab O16 - DPF: {DF780F87-FF2B-4DF8-92D0-73DB16A1543A} - http://download.games.yahoo.com/games/web_...aploader_v6.cab O16 - DPF: {E9A7F56F-C40F-4928-8C6F-7A72F2A25222} (AxRUploadControl Object) - http://www.imagestation.com/common/classes....cab?v=1,0,0,36 O18 - Protocol: msnim - {828030A1-22C1-4009-854F-8E305202313F} - "C:\PROGRA~1\MSNMES~1\msgrapp.dll" (file missing) O20 - Winlogon Notify: igfxcui - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\igfxsrvc.dll O20 - Winlogon Notify: WRNotifier - WRLogonNTF.dll (file missing) O23 - Service: Adobe LM Service - Adobe Systems - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe Systems Shared\Service\Adobelmsvc.exe O23 - Service: avast! iAVS4 Control Service (aswUpdSv) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\aswUpdSv.exe O23 - Service: avast!
