  1. Fantastic! Thanks for the help, everyone. Behaviour fixed, files cleared, so back to normal - and thank goodness for that! Tarun: I'll swap out AVG for MSE this afternoon. Thanks for the recommendation. As for toolbars, it's always a balance of risk vs convenience. Personally, the benefit from Lastpass' toolbar (and system) is worth it to me. And I'm using Easylist too - it's great. Big thank you everyone - I really appreciate it, and I've just made a small donation to show my gratitude.

  3. Hi there - thanks for the speedy help! Malwarebytes didn't return any infections (log posted below). I'm still having the problems, though - but I think I may have found a cause... To give you a bit more info, it's only Firefox that has this issue: IE is fine. And looking closely at my history, the google result points briefly towards a URL that starts with 'google.ad.sgdoubleclick.net', which almost instantly directs you to a different site from the search result. I don't have any toolbars installed but I checked my extensions anyway. I didn't recognise an extension called 'XULRunner
  4. I'm having google redirect problems in Firefox on Windows 7 64 bit. It's not every link that redirects, but I'm often (maybe once every ten results) redirected to spammy/junk sites.
