  18. lol i joined a forum last year- my friends one. I joined my first proper computer forum on 25-June 05. On 27-june 05 i started learning about HJT in a classroom (still learning). After a few weeks after that i started joining other spyware removal forums. I used Msn around January. I used ICQ once but i recieved too much spam-so i ditched it. ps- i didn't understand it until CaPMan explained it, but then again i am only 13
  19. Thanks for the offer but i had to reformat on Thursday cos my friend was deleting random files (i had hidden files shown) :(. I tried system restore, Scanfix (i think it's that- you put the cd in and it checks for missing system files) and a few others. the result of the reformat- i lost all my GCSE course work. I didn't get any sleep after that reformat because i had to redo all of it in wordpad (my friend uninstalled microsoft office-now i can't get it back). cool thanks I am downloading it now.
  20. I turn my system restore off when i do virusscans incase some viruses ends up there- too much of a pain to re-scan so i rather do it once only.
