    avast! 6

I like the sidebar gadget! I like IE9 64bit as well. XP users are missing out.

    IE 8 - Really Fast?

I did notice a bit of a slowdown on IE8 on my my new 4GB Vista Home Premium system but after I Goggled about IE8 issues I find it works fine after I applied the fixes I found but it does use more memory though and each tab has its own address space so that whatever happens in one tab does not affect the other from what I read. I have given up on Spybot S&D as it has not kept up with the times but it still is OK for some people so I prefer Malwarebytes Anti-Malware in conjunction with my avast! anti virus application and WinPatrol PLUS.
  6. I Like Monty Python's Mr. Gumby and my brain hurts occasionally but my back hurts when its going to rain and I need headcover due to being an Aquarius. Which reminds me of my favorite slogan that is an adaption of a phrase from Apocalypse Now: I love the smell of burning malware in the morning. Its the smell of Victory.

    How fast is your Internet?

    Sure beats dial-up. :)

    How did you find Lunarsoft?

I got here because I wanted to use Dial-a-fix on my new Vista Home Premium system but I see it does not support Vista nor IE8 :)

    IE 8 and dial-a-fix

IE8 is not beta anymore and I use it on all 3 of my systems :)

    Forum patch applied.

I have noticed that the forums that I visit now have a no policy that reduces new member's ability to use PM, post live links and to modify their profile contents until they have about 20 posts. One bad apple spoils the barrel applies here.

    Your browser

I now use IE8 with Web of Trust (WoT) and dumped IE7Pro due to lack of IE8 support.

    IE8 Final is outgoing...

I'm using Dial-a-fix v0.60.0.24 with IE8 on my old XP Home and Pro systems and would love to use it on my new Vista Home Premium system but it is not supported yet and I will donate some money as soon as I am able at the end of the month but things like rent and food are priority now so I would like to add my vote to future Dial-a-fix enhancement. :)
  15. I used SUPERAntiSpyware a while back but I did not like it and I can't remember why I didn't like it. As long as you don't include its poorly maintained HOSTS file. I prefer WinPatrol to Spybot S&D's TeaTimer. ( Woof ) In fact I like WinPatrol so much I purchased the PLUS update and even have its Flash Drive: http://winpatrol.stores.yahoo.net/winpatro...-wristband.html With a 33MB download makes it only a Norton ( Symantec ) lover would want. I like MBAM: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php Update its definitions then run a Quick scan.
