Capman 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 I know it is old news now, but, I just thought I would share these, only got them today by email. What an amazing and probably frightening feeling it must have been, to be able to take these photo's so close yet so far from Katrina. Capman 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2005 Those pics were amazing Bavaria, better than what I had posted. The UK would not be able to cope with that sort of weather, 70 mph winds knock us for six.
Tarun 20 Report post Posted September 24, 2005 For a six? I take it that's like being knocked for a loop?

Capman 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2005 Everything is dearer in the UK, I pay 48 for a pair of Levi's which is $85. When my son was in New York 6 months ago, he got me some for $20.
Corey 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 I wouldn't be too concerned with the victims of Katrina ...They have better now than they did before the storm . As far as gasoline prices .... I try not to base my lifestyle on the ups and downs ...
SenutyEnool 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Converted it: $7.25 per gallon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> DownUnder for us it's $4.41 (AUD) per gallon (did a convert from liters) which would make it $3.29 (USD) per gallon. After looking at that, this weekend just gone I've travelled (1,780kms = 1,106miles) which hurt the wallet at $238 (USD)........ I gotta stop travelling Cheers
Capman 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 You guys have it cheap. Here in the UK we are looking at about 0.86 per litre (3.90 per gallon). Which equals $6.75 USD per gallon or $9.02 AUD per gallon.

Gotta find a way to shrink this place...... Cheers :lmao:
