major82 0 Posted July 13, 2014 Share Posted July 13, 2014 I am having a problem networking all my home computers running different versions of windows: - OS Windows 7 PRO Laptop - OS Windows ME Desktop How do I get rid of the ‘Enter Network Password’ prompt problem from my Windows 7 Pro Laptop when I try to access my Windows ME Desktop? It wanted to use additional software just to do it. It may prompt for it and you can just hit enter to skip it. However, it's been years (close to ten) since I last used Windows ME. From everything I see via searches it's referring to networking Windows 7 and Windows 98 and that it just can't be done. Honestly, you may be better off putting Vista on the desktop if it supports it, or even a flavor of Linux. Link to post Share on other sites
