While using Dial-a-fix with all options checked, I get the following error:

16:35:03 | Error during DLLInstall of C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdocvw.dll - version: 6.00.2900.3020. The error returned is: Access is denied.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Open the Tools dialog in Dial-a-fix, and double click on Repair Permissions.

Then try the Explorer/IE/OE/shell/WMP checkmark again.

Have tried it, but unfortunately the message remains the same...

Aw crap. Microsoft changed registration behavior again.

What this means to you: you can safely ignore that error. Dial-a-fix needs an exception for build 3020 of that DLL. I'll make a new build of Dial-a-fix soon.
