Posted July 12, 200717 yr I was recommended to dial a fix because after an download of an internet application, curses to AOL-did it for one of our adult kids visiting, I tried to remove the application with several problems erupting. Using Windows 2000 with sp 4 1. could not open add and remove 2. could not access microsoft updates and several microsoft sites 3. several internal windows would hang or never open. 4. overall performance deteriorated. Dial A Fix gave an error message with a known .dll. and said send to us the problem. I downloaded the .dll from a trusted site that has hundreds listed. Turned off the computer and rebooted Ran dial a fix and this time the program had no error with re-establishing the .dll and the result was a fixed computer. All works well with good speed and no hanging windows. Great utility!!
