Guest Mac Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Hello All, If you use the free Belarc Advisor, it shows all you patches and such and what is needed. When I run scannow, I come back and check Advisor. KB902400 will show reinstall every time. Look it up on the MS site under it and you can see what 400 does. It is a security update. However, I also notice my computer runs faster without it. However, I have old stuff: 1.6 P4 400 MHz buss 1 Gig of PC133 DFI NB-72SC Motherboard Newer XFX 5500 graphics card with 256 meg of DDR2 ram This last helped a lot. Anyway, I just want all of you to know about this and it will happen. BTW: The new IE rollup KB933566 really messed up this computer. I have been working on this for a week and half.
