I don't know whether Sudoku spread the world like it did the UK in 2005, but it seemed everyone was at it over here, with so many websites and programmers jumping on the bandwagon.

Anyway, now you can get a free download of it which generates a new puzzle everytime.

It is an Excel file but can be played with Open Office, although it looks better in Excel.

You will have to enable macros with each program however.
