OpenOffice.org is a free, open source office suite developed by Sun Microsystems together with the community. Many companies have helped such as IBM. OpenOffice.org is an free cross-platform alternative to Microsoft Office, it is compatible with documents created in Microsoft Office. OpenOffice.org have support for ODF (Open Document Format) which is the ISO standard for document exchange.
