I had to do a system repair recently which removes previous XP updates and won't let you re-install them, which is why Dial-A-Fix is such great tool. I also tried to re-install SP3 but it gets about half way and quits, supposedly reverting back to SP2 files. Anyway, while running Dial-A-Fix v0.60.0.24 I get a pane that states "Error-2147024891 was encountered while trying to dllInstall C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdocvw.dll. The error text is: Access is denied. Dial-A-Fix currently has no suggestions for this error code..... (etc)." Does anybody know what's going on? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
