Hi! I'm a first time poster.

I have a W2K web server that is unable to get Windows Updates and several services (SENS and BITS) appear to be the culprits.

Dial-A-Fix seems to be the ticket out of all my troubles. It's taken quite some time already to get to this point.

I downloaded what appears to be the latest version of D-A-F from the recommended location (v0.60.0.24).

When I run Dial-a-fix.exe I immediately get the following error

Dial-a-fix.exe - Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application.

The permissions under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT for "Everyone" appear fine: Full control.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

That hex status code equals "STATUS_DLL_INIT_FAILED", so running process monitor from sysinternals whilst opening DAF *might* give you an answer.
