jpetrovick
When I try to use the Dial-A-Fix tools to Repair/Re-install IE, the program runs forever. How long should I allow it to run before ending it? Is an hour normal? I am trying to repair IE6 and my OS is XP-SP2.
Eldmannen
Maybe you can upgrade to IE8, it sucks less.
Katayamma
Personally, I'd upgrade to IE7 and not IE8. If you have your heart set on IE6, send me a private message with your address and I'll send you a copy of the installer since MS has removed it from distro. Cheers
Eldmannen
Personally, I'd upgrade to IE7 and not IE8. IE7 is slightly better than IE6, but its still not standards-compliant. IE8 at least finally claims to be standards-compliant. So I would recommend IE8 over IE7.
