Okay, I just installed 98 SE. I've never used 98, and it won't connect to the internet? I did an ipconfig /all, and everything is blank.

It's connected to the router via an ethernet cable. grrrrrrr What am I missing?

Man I need to chew my college out for not offering that networking class for over a year.

Friend of mine had the same problems when he tried to connect his 98SE machine to the net over a network. Then again his setup was the net when into a Windows XP computer, then out to a HUB and shared the connection from there. A networking disk had to be made when setting up the LAN so the 98SE computer would notice the activity.

Thanks, that is most likely the problem. I will check the website for something to install.

Something else: I believe the Win 9x equivalent of Ipconfig is Winipcfg
