Hi Folks

Just joined the group.

We have a computer club here in our over 50's Village in Hervey Bay, QLD, Australia.

Most times we can sort out our problems "in house" but occasionally we are stumped.

Current problem that we need help with is related to Updates for XP.

User has been updating ok for long time but now the updates do not install.

Currently total of 11 downloaded, including several for Office 2003.

No error messages, just comes back and says "Not installed"

Any help would be useful.

Full anti virus scans and anti spyware all come up ok.

Thanks in advance

Brian

Although I have a utility called Dial-a-fix that helps with these kinds of issues, it probably won't solve this one.

I suggest starting at the Office 2003 Solution Center (which is quite good) :

http://support.microsoft.com/ph/2488

Specifically, this section: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304498

That article is a bit much, but we can walk you through any steps that you don't understand.

If you have any questions or comments about your Office issue, make a NEW posting in the appropriate section of the forums (probably one of these: http://lunarsoft.net/forum/index.php?showforum=14)

Good luck, and welcome to Lunarsoft.net!

Thanks for reply.

I had already downloaded the Dial-a-fix but not installed as I did not think it would fix problem. I will try your suggestions.
