TexasFilly
Spybot what does it mean when I go to update and the detection rules comes back with "bad checksum"? Firefox Why don't some pages display the photos on that page? Thanks
Capman
Spybot: Spybot bad checksum error means that the definition file is corrupted. Choosing another location to download the file can sometimes cure it and result in the file downloading ok. I nearly always download it from one of the Safer Networking links. Edit, I have before now gone through the following routine until I get it: First download results in bad checksum, Try another location, still get bad checksum, Close and then re-open Spybot, try again, still bad checksum, Close Spybot, run CCleaner, then re-open Spybot, try again still bad checksum, Close everything that is open, restart PC, try again, and it works. Just persevere and you get it in the end. Firefox: I don't actually know why Firefox is not displaying images correctly. Do they display ok in another browser? Do you have a link to a page where they are not displaying?
