alanr Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Hi, I have just installed Dial a Fix in order to solve this ploblem but as you can see from the enclosed log, it was unsuccessful. I have XP SP2 running as a client of SBS 2003. The same problem occurs as a standalone also. --- Registration: Programming cores/runtimes --- 13:12:34 | Registered: C:\WINDOWS\system32\atl.dll 13:12:34 | Registered: C:\WINDOWS\system32\corpol.dll 13:12:34 | Registered: C:\WINDOWS\system32\jscript.dll 13:12:34 | Registered: C:\WINDOWS\system32\dispex.dll 13:12:35 | Registered: C:\WINDOWS\system32\scrrun.dll 13:12:35 | Registered: C:\WINDOWS\system32\scrobj.dll 13:12:50 | Error during registration of C:\WINDOWS\system32\vbscript.dll - version: 5.6.0.8825. The error returned is: Unspecified error (-2147467259) 13:12:50 | Registered: C:\WINDOWS\system32\wshext.dll I have also run SFC purge and scan. Hoping someone can help me out here! That is what lead me to DAF in the first place. Any more ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks. I tried to install Script Host 5.6 but it still would not register. Error mesage was :- Error registering OCX: C\windowssystem32\vbscript.dll Any idea what to do next?
