error 127: C:/windows/system32/iesetup.dll (ver 7.00.5730.13) is not registerable or file is corrupt ?

I just installed Service Pak 3 - Do I need an exeption to get this to register??

had to repair winXP and then tried to update..had 85 updates that would not install. contacted MS Update support and been working on it for a week. every time i try to shut down 85 more updates..85 more could not installs.

i ended up installing SV3 manually and my pc got stuck in the mud!!! even with the error message at the ens..DAF fixed everything!!!!

i was just trying to make it perfect by buttoning up that last error message.

for what it worth.. i can live with DAF and me knowing one of my SP3 files is busted. everything seems to work now

n yes..second run said the same thing.

davids, check option 3, WU/WUAU and click Flush SoftwareDistribution. For the message box that appears, click Yes.
