I let the first one run overnight and after 9 hours it was still stuck on cryptsvc. Any suggestions? I have found a workaround for that problem that I experienced relatively recently. Even manually, cryptsvc. service can not be stopped. So exiting ZoneAlarm also stops vsmon.exe, and then the service can be stopped. Running dial-a-fix when it is stopped, works and will not hung up. After, exiting dial-a-fix, you can re-run ZoneAlarm and together with vsmon.exe , cryptsvc service will start. I don't know why this problem has started recently.
