The AntiMalware Toolkit seems to be a very useful application with lots of potential however there seems to be a few limitations.

Does the AMT check version numbers or at least dates and times on the items downloaded to ensure they are up to date and to prevent downloading files which are already at the most current version?

Is there anyway to add custom downloads?

Hi Simon!

At this time no it does not. While there are a few desired features on the to-do list such as checking for installed applications, ensuring they're up to date, and a user.xml for a user's own list of applications. They will be coming in the future but how soon is another question.

Checking downloaded files to prevent redownloading has also been requested and it will be looked into, though I cannot make any promises or guarantees it will be added.
