Eldmannen Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 Recently version 2.5 of Nexuiz got released. Nexuiz is a free open-source FPS game developed by Alientrap. It is built using the DarkPlaces engine, a heavily modified Quake 1 engine, but you don't notice that, cuz its so pretty. Prettier than Quake 3, it has real-time lighting, shadows, bump mapping, bloom, HDR, etc so it kinda looks like the Source engine.
