Administrator Tarun Posted May 29, 2009 Administrator Share Posted May 29, 2009 You can try this official fix from Microsoft, called Reset Windows Update.
SpyderBoy
Thanks for the tip Timelord. I have run the Reset Windows Update and it fails with a message stating that "Service 'wuauserv' (wuauserv) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." This is an administrator account. I see that there is an "aggressive" option when you run the RWU program... Is this a good idea to try? Any other help would be appreciated. Administrator Tarun Posted May 29, 2009 Administrator Share Posted May 29, 2009 According to Microsoft, if Default does not resolve the issue, use Aggressive. :D
