my pc cant view any microsoft website, I'm formatting my pc, then is a very old windows XP home...so i need to update it with windows update right?

but after few times trying..suddenly i cant log on to any microsoft website anymore, but other site was perfectly in good condition..and then i cant update my windows XP service pack 2 as well..and then i cant view any microsoft web, then i cant update Internet explorer and any software that related to microsoft....

i couldnt found any solution..please help me...!!please..
