Guest Mike Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I know dial a fix does not support vista and not sure when if ever. What is best solution to fixing windows update issues on vista? Many solutions like repairing registry with various paid programs are bogus and waste of time. So how does one fix windows updates that won't function?
Administrator Tarun Posted September 13, 2009 Administrator Posted September 13, 2009 Microsoft's Fixit works quite well, I use that for Vista issues.
James_A Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Which Fix it did you have in mind? There are now several 100's of Fix it solutions and 11 just for Windows Update. See the Microsoft Fix it Solution Center for a list of most (not all) of them. .
NerdFencer Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I am the developer of another free tool called "Automatic System Cleaner"... It is not geared towards the same area as Dial-A-Fix, but includes a couple similar features and is designed for windows XP-7. If you need something on Vista, It would be a decent alternative. You can check it out here. Hope this helps, -Matt

I needed restoration disk for system restoring everything! I'll keep your program for future reference - giving it another go : ) Peace!
