Administrator Tarun Posted July 22, 2010 Administrator Share Posted July 22, 2010 Lunarsoft has added a custom member into our Editors group that goes by the name of NewsBot. The NewsBot imports articles from the Lunarsoft frontpage to the news section of our forums to allow easier discussions. This is a trial run to see how well the NewsBot works and depending on how well it works, it may be a permanent addition. Capman Posted July 24, 2010 Share Posted July 24, 2010 Seems to be working well and is a good idea, but if an image is included at the start of the post then there is a big gap between the first line of text and subsequent lines of text. I've asked Joomla on how to not show images in the RSS feed and one user suggested a custom extension. Asking on Invision and they're offering a few suggestions.
