It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your temporary internet files, cookies and history. CCleaner can also clean very quickly, usually taking about ten seconds to run. The latest 3.0 release of CCleaner is a major upgrade and adds native support for 64-bit systems and a new Drive Wiper tool that can be used to securely erase the contents of free space on a specified drive.
