How do I take a screenshot?

ok, i did what you said Tarun. Now what good is this feature? What is it used for? Is this somehow the way you guys show a picture of your desktop on forums? I would love to find out how to do that. :realmad:

It is a quick way of getting to see your desktop if you have loads of windows open.

As for being able to show a pic of your desktop on forums, do the following.

Click the Print Screen button, (you won't actually see anything happen).

Open Paint.

Click Edit.

Click Paste.

Click File.

Click Save As.

Give it a name and choose the .jpg file extension.

Upload to somewhere such as ImageShack.

Post the link in a forum, and your finished.

hmmmmm. that doesnt look right. :(

got the screenshot taken, and saved it in jpg form. thanks for that capman. any idea what i did wrong with image shack?

ive learned quite a bit on this forum. some of the other ones ive been to are so big, too into specifics, or hard to understand. i like this party. :realmad:
