Posted November 13, 201212 yr I have ran SAS, spybot and MBAM and cleared all the malware and other crap from the laptop, try to run this program to get perhaps solution to my first problem which is no Device Manager page loading (stays blank). When running this program I get this message first and then it hangs at dmloader.dll Access violation at address 77c0154D in module 'version.dll' read of address 00000004 Here is the text from the log Some additional info on the reported laptop problem:-dmloader.dll, despite beginning with the letters DM, has nothing to do with Device Manager (as you will find out, if you follow the link)Device Manager files begin with dev...The file devmgr.dll has successfully registered (see 5 lines up from bottom in the 1st post)Device Manager is actually a MMC (Microsoft Management Console) application, so also requires the file devmgmt.msc to be present as well as all the MMC files (mmc.exe and about 12 others) .
January 14, 201312 yr version.dll probably crashes because dmloader is corrupted (like in the other post) and being corrupted causes garbage versioning information to be passed back to Dial-a-fix. Dial-a-fix 1.0 (if it ever gets off the ground) doesn't crash when passed garbage version information (already worked on that), and will probably be able to figure this out automatically. Please support Dial-a-fix 1.0!
