greenknight Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 The popular Firefox extension Bookmark Backup has a new version in testing, with a major change in function. Up to now, this extension has backed up bookmarks and, optionally, other Firefox profile data, each time the browser shut down. The new 0.4 version, however, also backs up this data at intervals while Firefox is running. This occurs each 2 hrs by default, but this can be modified by the user. This "partial rewrite" of the program also aims to improve reliability. Pike, the extension's author, is seeking users to help test the new version, download available here: http://www.pikey.me.uk/mozilla/?addon=bb Quote
