Featured Replies

Security researcher Amit Klein has released a research document detailing a newly-discovered Internet Explorer security flaw.

Potentially, an attacker could use a JavaScript component, XmlHttpRequest, to spoof a legitimate web site, access the browser cache, or tap into traffic between the target computer and another web site.

Secunia,in an advisory, rated this vulnerability "moderately critical".

It has not been determined if Firefox is also vulnerable, though Klein said "I suspect it is".
