My workmate will finally be taking his first computer home soon, which we have had in work for some time, since I upgraded from ME to 2000, but with a few problems along the way.

What I would really like to do is make some sort of restore disk, so that if he breaks it, I can get it back to it's current state easily.

Can anyone recommend some software that will allow me to do this (freeware).

    Not tried it yet, hopefully I will within the next couple of days because I think I have a malware infected computer coming into work tomorrow, so I want to get on that one as soon as possible.
