NASA finds Lunar Oxygen Source

Recommended Posts

NASA hosts a news conference Wednesday, Oct. 19, to discuss new Hubble Space Telescope ultraviolet images of the Moon's surface.

Preliminary assessments of the images, taken with Hubble's Advanced Camera for Surveys, suggest an abundance of titanium and iron oxides. These may potentially be sources of oxygen and a resource for human exploration.
