Figured this might be a fun little game of sorts. Just basically say what your avatar is, be descriptive since avatars can be changed so frequently! Avatar: Doctor Who. Why?: I'm a big fan of Doctor Who because of DjLizard. David Tennant is my favorite Doctor since I started watching. He seems to really fit into the role from things I've read and seen. He's great at fixing things and I respect that and what The Doctor stands for. I can relate, and enjoy helping people and fixing things. So how about you all? :gold:

I wanted to share an ongoing issue our company is facing with QuadraNet, a data hosting provider that is now under new ownership by Edge Centres. We were wrongly billed around $13,000 for a server we canceled years ago, and it has turned into a frustrating ordeal. (Interestingly, a TrustPilot review from 2023 mentions someone facing the same issue of being charged for months without notice after canceling a server.) Our accountant discovered the error during a routine check, noticing we were still being charged for this server long after the cancellation. When we reached out to the provider, it initially seemed promising. Michael Lowe, the Chief Revenue Officer…

I understand this topic, might be rather odd for here. But I am struggling to find one suitable. Just wondering if someone can assist with advice or help on finding a suitable Point of Sale software, We used to use software called BOXYPOS, but sadly the software recently was discontinued. which was very basic from a employee perspective to use and simple to set up. i would appreciate your input/guidance.

I recently came across a very interesting article talking about a new type of credit card being issued in France. The card's security code (three digits on the back) randomize, much like an authenticator does. Looks like it would be very useful and give a better sense of security to many.

As the world changes and the Internet evolves, so do we. That’s why we are making a major change to our Internet data trials and moving to a terabyte data plan in all of our trial markets. A terabyte is an enormous amount of data. It’s far more than most of our customers will ever use in a month. Today, more than 99 percent of our customers do not come close to using a terabyte. Our typical customer uses only about 60 gigabytes of data in a month – that’s far less than a terabyte (in fact, 940 gigabytes less), or less than six percent of a terabyte. In our trials, we have experimented with different offers, listened to feedback, and learned a lot. That is wh…

Recently saw this on reddit, but Robin Williams is dead at age 63. Suicide is the suspected cause, asphyxiation. http://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/2da3m3/robin_williams_dead_at_63/ http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Marin-County-Sheriffs-Office-Investigating-Death-of-Actor-Robin-Williams-270820641.html

Sadly, it has come to my attention that Wynthyst - a valued forum member and contributor to our wiki - passed away on May 14th, 2014. She has worked with numerous wikis and communities. She was the Senior Wiki Manager for Curse and Gamepedia. She was a great friend to talk with and learn new things with. She always had a great wit and sense of humor and she will be greatly missed. The most I know is that, "She died peacefully in her sleep, from my understanding. Not really sure what happened." I honestly am at a loss for words. She was one heck of a friend and she'll be missed. For anyone who wishes to read more about her, you can read more here.

I'm now the happy owner of a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T400 7417. Set me back all of $215.88, with free shipping. This came about because, after I got our crummy emachines all upgraded with more RAM and a graphics card, and we got DSL, it seemed to be constantly in use. It's fast, it plays HD video, and somebody's doing something on it all the time. I got to thinking, "I could get a basic wireless router and a cheap netbook, wouldn't cost that much. Then, when someone's watching DVDs or playing Bookworm, I could use that to check my e-mail and stuff". Shopping around, I found that the cheapest deal I could get was a Coby netbook for just under $200.00 with shippin…

Got DSL now. For a long time it wasn't available here, the only choices were overpriced cable or satellite, or dialup. Choices have improved, we got reasonably-priced DSL - and it's waaaay faster than crappy dialup. :jump:

While this is a funny video, it's very accurate. Five Guys Burgers and Fries are definitely the best place to go for a burger and fries.

I just finally upgraded from Windows XP to 7. I didn't do it earlier because I didn't have any license, didn't want to buy one, and didn't want to pirate it, and I really didn't care since I didn't use Windows anyways, since I moved full-time to Linux. Still had Windows XP on my second hard disk though, even though I never really boot it. Well, except that time I upgraded my Android phone from 2.3 Gingerbread to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwhich. Two weeks ago I was able to get a genuine Windows 7 copy through MSDN for free, so I finally upgraded. I guess it was finally time for me to upgrade from this decade old operating system. ;)

So it goes like this, 5 years and 8 months ago I started a thread called "Anything goes topic", it eventually ran on to be 100 pages long, it was a very random thread with loads of things talked about and it would be nice to try to recreate it in this new version. The original can be found Btw Tarun, I'll reply to your pm about the other matter some other time, I was on Skype talking to my son in Chicago til late tonight, or maybe I should say this morning, he seems to forget that what is only 6:30 in the evening for him is 12:30 the next morning for me.
