Eldmannen Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 It's good that QT Alternative and RealPlayer Alternative exists, so people don't have to install that junk. Myself, I don't have the alternatives installed either, because I barely ever come across QT or RealMedia. Quote
Mangix Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 personally, i should just get rid of the QuickTime alternative. ffdshow and mplayer(main player that i use) support .mov files perfectly. and i also believe that ffdshow and mplayer both have support for Real Media, soooo... Quote

Yes, I think so too. Because I don't have this QuickTime alternative and RealPlayer alternative, but I have ffdshow and VLC, and I think I am able to play .mov files. Btw, didn't know MPlayer was for Windows too, thought it was for Linux only. Is it good? I've used VLC media player and Media Player Classic (MPC), they both fine. Quote
