Sauerbraten

Featured Replies

I found a game called Sauerbraten, its a free, open source game.

Its a FPS (First Person Shooter), like Quake and the such.

Its main developer is Wouter van Oortmerssen, which is one of the guys who was making Far Cry.

It doesn't got so many weapons, but its pretty decent graphics. Good if you don't want to spend money on a game, or to have something to play in school or at work.

It has pretty strange menus and stuff. When you start the game, press "Esc", and choose Multiplayer, then "Server Browser", and join a game to play multiplayer, but you can play it on LAN too.

There seems to be some kind single-player mode too.

When you are in multiplayer, you are either in the "Good" or "Evil" team, I think you get randomly auto assigned or something.

The blue guys are your team mates, and you should always kill the red guys.

I die alot, the players who play are pretty good, heh or I am pretty noob. :cake:

It's kinda like Team Deatchmatch (DM), and Capture the Flag (CTF).

It's available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
