Dear Forum:

As I have too many os updates and should re-formate my hard drive and re-load windows, which would be too lengthly solution, I have trouble shutting down windows. Whenever, I load windows xp pro and should it for any length of time and try to shut down, the pointer turns to the owl glass form and just sits there for too long of time. I solve the problem by hitting the reset button and after windows loads, I can shut down in the normal amount of time.

Does anyone have any idea of this problem and how to solve it.
