rdlong47
Your User Agent is: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; SIMBAR={E7C3D492-029A-4c03-A9D7-32FB89120D2B}; Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) ; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; Media Center PC 4.0; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; Media Center PC 3.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) I'm not real sure what all this is, but it looks OK to me!!!! Administrator Tarun Posted February 12, 2008 Administrator Share Posted February 12, 2008 I've moved this topic to the Windows XP section since this is not a Dial-a-fix problem. Here's what my user agent looks like: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR 3.5.21022; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) It looks like you have too many entries and I think the SIMBAR may be the culprit. So let's get a solution. Warning: Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. Back up and then delete the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform To back up and then delete the registry key, follow these steps: Click Start, and then click Run.In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.Locate, and then click the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post PlatformOn the File menu, click Export. In the File name box, type Post Platform, and then click Save.On the Edit menu, click Delete.Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.Quit Registry Editor. If this does not resolve the problem, double-click the Post Platform.reg file that you saved in step 5 to import this key back into the registry.
