Guest judy44
Having a problem with installing new software and someone suggested Dial-A-Fix. I downloaded and ran it*, specifically, Fix Windows Installer. After it ran, there was nothing to show if there were any errors found or if anything was fixed. Is this normal? *When I unzipped the Dial-A-Fix program, I received two notices before it opened: 1) external exception C0000006 2) system error code 1400 invalid window handle Thanks for any assistance. DjLizard
If it was successful then there will be no errors or dialogs. The log will show that a bunch of things were processed in that section. Have you tested your hardware first? http://lunarsoft.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2269
Guest judy44
I printed 11 pages of "Integrity Checklist" to follow and could not even accomplish the very first one (memtest86+). This forum is too advanced for me. I need to find one for dopes. Thanks for trying.

This forum is too advanced for me. I need to find one for dopes. Thanks for trying. Don't class yourself as a dope, you are in fact a novice user, where all of us started from. It's just that some of us need to realise this and tone down the explanations to suit ALL classes of user. So, don't be disheartened, just keep throwing the questions at us and if the answer seems over technical, let us know. We're here to help, that's what this website/community is all about. Cheers :hmm:
