Posted November 16, 200519 yr im currently researching which brand to buy for memory upgrade to 1gb for my laptop. which brand would you sugggest and why. i think i have narrowed it down to viking or kingston
November 16, 200519 yr I would go with whatever Crucial recommend, it is guaranteed to work just fine with you computer.

Crucial makes the best memory. They sell factory direct and ship it free. Just go to their site and use the "Crucial Memory Advisor Tool" at the top right of the page. When you bring up your make and model laptop, they will show you a list of the compatible memory modules that they sell with the price. On the same page, they show how many memory slots you have and how much memory your computer will handle. They may cost a little more than Kingston but I think it's worth it.
