which memory module do you suggest

im currently researching which brand to buy for memory upgrade to 1gb for my laptop. which brand would you sugggest and why. i think i have narrowed it down to viking or kingston

holy cow, my head is swollen with all the info from visiting that site. thanks for that great link. but it still dosnt answer my question about which brand you would suggest. im thinking more on the lines of kingston now :hello:

CaPMan is right. Crucial makes the best memory. They sell factory direct and ship it free. Just go to their site and use the "Crucial Memory Advisor Tool" at the top right of the page. When you bring up your make and model laptop, they will show you a list of the compatible memory modules that they sell with the price. On the same page, they show how many memory slots you have and how much memory your computer will handle. They may cost a little more than Kingston but I think it's worth it.
