FlightGear is an flight simulator.

It is not for the weak of heart.

You cant just jump in, and fly through the sky, because its not a game, its a realistic flight simulator for flight enthusiast.

You have to turn the breaks off, lift the wheels up, and maybe even speak to flight tower to get permission to take off.

Most of the default aircraft are pretty boring civilian aircraft and passenger jets, but you can download other aircrafts such as the YF-23 from the site.

Since my last post in this thread, a new version have came out 1.9.1.

I just wish they would include some "cool" (read: advanced super-sonic fifth generation jet fighter aircraft with stealth and thrust vectoring) aircraft by default.
