Yeah, today Ubuntu 9.04 "Jaunty Jackalope" got released, which is a free open source operating system. It is a popular Linux distribution.

It comes with the new GNOME 2.26 desktop environment which comes with the new burning software Brasero and better support for multi-monitor setups.

It boots faster, comes with then Linux 2.6.28 kernel, X.Org server 1.6, Mesa 7.4, etc.

Next May (finishing university) it looks like I'll be backing up all my data, wiping my drive cleaning, and living Ubuntu only. Been testing this through Wubi, and I do love it. Look forward to testing this.
