Guest Rex Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 Hello. I am receiving the following error : "The Windows Installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance". I can install or uninstall any programs and everytime I open my MS Outlook - Windows Installer pops up about 7 times then it goes away. I tried using Dial-a-Fix and I am still gettign the same error message. Can anyone please give me some advice as to how to fix this?
