The sneaky crooks at Symantec and McAfee sneaked an neverending auto-renewing subscription, hidden in the bottom of their EULA.

So they kept charging people on their credit cards.

Do not install software that forces you to agree an EULA, especially not an draconian EULA. Read the EULA before you install, so that you know in what way you will be violated and which rights you agree to give up.
