After I turn it on, it begins working normally, then it begins to slow down; even simple things like opening the Trash Bin or Windows Explorer take a long time. Some times it becomes slightly "less bad" (although with a few slow downs here and there), other times it freezes my computer, forcing me to manually turn it off. I came here after following the instructions on this page; Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, SUPERAntiSpyware and Spybot S&D (the latter I have already been using for some time) couldn't find anything on my computer. I have also ran ESET Online Antivirus Scanner, which found a trojan on an old, unused file. (For the records, I don't use Internet Explorer, only Firefox.)
August 18, 200915 yr Administrator Welcome to Lunarsoft! I would recommend switching from McAfee to avast, because McAfee is becoming as well known as Norton for resource hogging. Also, you should make sure you have the latest Java.
