Administrator Tarun Posted December 10, 2009 Administrator Share Posted December 10, 2009 It doesn't even detect Windows 7 properly... why is it beta? What changed?
fredvries
What changed? Woefully little after such a long, long time: [v2.0.3 BETA] * Fixed parser issues on winlogon notify * Fixed issues to handle certain environment variables * Rename HJT generates complete scan log
James_A
What changed? Woefully little after such a long, long time: According to the download page it only goes as far as Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0 and Firefox 1.5 or 2.0 as well. As for OS, Windows Server 2003 & Windows Server 2008 aren't listed, never mind Windows 7. That's one seriously out-of-date download page. Version 2.0.2 of HJT dates from June 2007. . cluberti
Considering sysinternals' autoruns has basically subsumed all of HJT's detection areas (I actually prefer the XML or CSV output from autoruns vs a HJT log) and works on XP - Win7, is HJT even really necessary anymore?
